My hubby texted this morning, asking if I was gonna head outside to take pictures of the snow before it melted. “It looks like whipped cream plopped everywhere!”
I was reluctant to venture out into the cold so early in the morning, but he convinced me to go for it.

After a brown, unseasonably warm Christmas, even I am kind of happy to finally see some snow. I had to grab the camera and run out for a couple shots as soon as I noticed it.
My little sisters came to visit me this week. If the snow keeps accumulating, they might regret having left all the great hills back home.
The back porch is usually stocked with firewood once November rolls around, but there hasn’t been much need for it yet this year, even in December.
