Happy Anniversary to Us!

We met about five years ago…

(on September 29th, 2006, to be exact)

Started dating…

(secretly, as I was only sixteen and not actually allowed to)

Fell in love…

(surprise!)

Got engaged…

(still secretly)

Tried to think of a way to break it to everybody…

(it ain’t easy keeping that sort of thing to yourself)

Kinda let people start figuring it out on their own…

(wearing the ring in public probably helped)

Convinced my parents to just go with it…

(who could say no to these faces? eh heh.)

And got married!

(on October 27th, 2007, to be exact)

(yes, I was only seventeen)

(no, I wasn’t pregnant)

We knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, and we didn’t feel the need to wait any longer. Simple as that.  :)

Soooo, almost a year goes by…

And we welcome our first bundle of joy!

(on October 2nd, 2008, to be exact)

Not quite thirteen months later, our second bundle arrives!

(this time on October 29th, 2009)

Another eighteen months, and our third is here!

  (April 19th, 2011)

Now, four years later, we have three beautiful girlies…

And more love and happiness than ever!

Happy anniversary, Babycakes. You are the best decision I ever made, and I can’t wait to celebrate forty more anniversaries together (and maybe another fifteen or so after that).

Love you!

From a Baby’s Point of View

My six-month-old isn’t able to crawl just yet, but she’s at the stage where she’ll play happily on the floor for several minutes at a time.

The other day, I decided to crouch down to her eye level and document what she’s sees from that prespective.

It’s a whole different world down there.  :)
